What Are Cookies

Cookies and similar storage technologies (such as localStorage) are small pieces of data stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and improve your experience. FastTool primarily uses browser localStorage rather than traditional cookies.

Storage We Use

FastTool's current public evidence surfaces use the following browser storage items:

  • theme — Stores your light/dark theme preference so the site remembers your visual preference between visits.
  • um_lang — Stores your selected interface language preference (English or Turkish).
  • cookie_consent — Records whether you have accepted or declined the cookie consent banner.
  • fasttool_conversion_event_log_v2 and fasttool_tool_visit_log_v1 — After analytics consent, store allowlisted event classes and per-tool visit times for reliability measurement and the 24-hour-to-7-day return metric. They do not store pasted input, file names, raw search text, or tool output.
  • FastTool proof-chain storage — Stores receipts that you explicitly save in the browser so they can be linked and verified locally.

Preferences and proof-chain records stay on your device. After analytics consent, allowlisted analytics events may also be sent to the disclosed analytics provider; the local event log exists for retry and measurement continuity.

Third-Party Cookies

The following third-party services may set cookies on your device:

  • Google AdSense — Currently disabled. If enabled later, only eligible editorial pages may load ads after the required consent controls are active. Google may then use cookies and related identifiers under its policies. Learn more at Google Advertising Policies and Google partner-sites data use.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — Provides privacy-focused website analytics with minimal use of cookies. Cloudflare Analytics does not track individual users across sites.

Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, clear localStorage, and manage site data. Note that disabling localStorage may affect some site features such as theme and language preferences.

To opt out of personalized advertising by Google, visit Google Ads Settings.

Cookie Consent

FastTool displays a consent banner when no choice is stored. You can accept or decline non-essential analytics; your choice is kept in cookie_consent. Advertising remains disabled. Before any future EEA, UK, or Switzerland advertising, FastTool must activate a Google-certified CMP/TCF configuration and pass a separate release gate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this cookie policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our data practices. We encourage you to check this page periodically for the latest information.
